Ardmiddle Mains farm prides itself in growing and supplying the very best of malting barley for the nearby distilling industry.
Aberdeenshire has four distilleries with accompanying visitor centres, which border the malt whisky trail a short distance away on Speyside. Scotland produces and exports over 200 unique brands and blends of whisky all over the world.
The local traditional distillery of Glendronach is over 200 years old has a new visitor centre and lies only 10 minutes away from the cottages at the end of the B9024.
